Tomoeda Takahiko was born on November 4, 1876 in Fukuoka, Japan.
Tomoeda Takahiko graduated from Philosophy Department of Tokyo University in 1901. He made official tour to England in 1904.
Tomoeda Takahiko served then as professor of 5th Higher School and assistant professor of Kyoto University. After returning home he became professor of Tokyo Higher Normal School and assistant professor of Tokyo University of Science & Literature in 1925.
Tomoeda Takahiko retired from service at government schools and was appointed emeritus professor of Tokyo University of Science & Literature in 1941 . Became president of Tochiku Junior College in 1950. And later he became its emeritus president. His books include Shiso Mondai (Thought Problem), Rinrigaku Gairon (An Outline of Ethics) and Shakai Rinri Mondai (The Problems of Social Ethics).
