Education
Toshio Takamine graduated from Tokyo University (1909).
Career
Toshio Takamine specialized in optics and spectroscopy to become assistant professor at Kyoto University and then member of Physico-Chemical Research Institute (1918-1951). Meanwhile he also served as professor at his alma mater (1922-1924).
He was a member of Scientific Research Laboratory and of the academy and holds a doctorate in science.
