Kozai, Toyoki was born on September 25, 1943 in Tokyo. Son of Yoshishige and Miyo (Tanaka) Kozai.

Bachelor of Science, Chiba University, Matsudo, Japan, 1967. Master of Science, University Tokyo, 1969. Doctor of Philosophy, University Tokyo, 1972.

Career

Research assistant Osaka Prefecture University, Sakai, Japan, 1973-1977. Associate professor horticulture Chiba University, 1977-1990, professor, 1990—2005, dean, 1999—2005, president, since 2005.
