In 1953-1954, Valentin Sidorovich was a secretary of the All-Union Lenin Communist Youth Union of Voronezh State University, in 1956-1962 - a lecturer in the philosophy department of Voronezh State University. In 1959-1963 Valentin Sidorovich was a secretary of the party committee, pro-rector (1964-1966). Since 1966, he was a head of the Department of Scientific Communism, since 1990 - head of the Department of Sociology and Political Science, Voronezh State University. Since 2002, a professor at the same department.
