Varvara Efimovna Kireeva worked in agriculture, as a bricklayer at construction projects (her name was entered into the Book of Honor of Glavvolgovyatskstroi Building Trust No. 2). The first literary classes and publications refer to the period of Kireyeva's stay in the village named after V.V. Dokuchaev Institute (Talovsky district, Voronezh region, 1970-1979).
About 10 literary miniatures and fairy tales by Kireeva (under the pseudonym of V. Osoka, V. Setdykova) were published in the newspaper "Zarya" (Talovaya regional newspaper) in the 1970’s, under the heading "The Creativity of Our Countrymen".
Since 1979, Varvara Efimovna lived in Vladimir. Some of Kireeva's fairy tales were published in the book "The Juice of the Magical Tree" (Yaroslavl, 1988), in a reading book on the literary reading “The Path” (Vladimir, 2000). The author of the book "Strawberries-berries: Grandmother Varvara’s Tales" (Vladimir, 1994).
