As an actor, best known for his film Neotpravlennoe Pis'mo, 1960, and his TV film series as Sherlock Holmes, Prikliucheniia Sherloka Kholmsa and Doktora Votsona, 1979-1983. Directed such films as Samvi Samyi, 1966, and Siniaia Ptitsa, 1970.
