In 1949 Vasily Timofeevich Losev attended art studio L.S. Bednova at the Borisoglebsk club of railwaymen.
Vasily Timofeevich participated in thematic, regional, zone, republican, all-Russian, all-Union exhibitions.He is the author of the works: a series of linocuts "Earth" (1969), etchings "Our Aviation" (1977), drawings in pencil "Through the Urals" (1985), pastels "Through the Land of Smolensk" (1987). Author of paintings: "The Ancient Coast of Khopra" (1995), "Evening in Osetrovka" (2003), "Above the Don" (2003) and others.
His personal exhibitions of works were held in the Voronezh Exhibition Hall of the Union of Artists in 1984 and 1999.
