Vera Nikolaevna Kositskaya studied at Voronezh Musical Technical School (the late 1920s - the early 1930s, the Violoncello Department of I.V. Potemkin, the Piano Department of Y.E. Ilyutovich).
In the early 1930s, Vera Nikolaevna was the cellist of the Voronezh Symphony Orchestra. In the late 1930s - 1942, she worked as an accompanist (pianist) of the Ufa Philharmonia. In 1942-1945, Vera Nikolaevna participated in the Great Patriotic War as a frontline brigade artist. In the 1940s – the mid-1960s, she was an accompanist of the Folk Dance Ensemble of the Bashkir Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic, Riga Philharmonia, Tashkent Philharmonia (the 1940s – the mid-1960s), and Voronezh Musical Theater (Voronezh Opera and Ballet Theater, 1965-1974).
Later, Vera Nikolaevna worked as a teacher and accompanist of Voronezh Higher Sports Mastery School (with the head Y.E Shtukman).
