In 1929 Vera Nikolaevna graduated from North Caucasus Gorsk Teachers' Training Institute.
Career
In 1929-1932 Vera Nikolaevna was an assistant professor of geology department at the Teachers’ Academy (Samarkand city), in 1934-1941 – an assistant professor, associate professor at the department of geology history at Uzbekistan State university (Samarkand city). In 1941-1945 - an associate professor at the department of geology history at Tashkent (Central Asian) State University. Since 1945 Vera Nikolaevna was an associate professor, head (since 1950) of the history of geology department at Voronezh State University.
She was an expert in the sphere of the Paleozoic and the Mesozoic of Central Chernozem (Black Earth) Oblast, fundamental scientific fields at Voronezh State University in the stratigraphy of sedimentary deposits. The author of more than 50 works, which includes the book "Ostrakodi yurskih otlozheniy Centralno-Chernozemnoy oblasti" ("The ostracodes of Jurassic sediments of Central Chernozem (Black Earth) Oblast") (Voronezh, 1950).
