author of more than 200 scientific papers, including three books; main results of his work are related to the development of methods of analysis, selection and optimization of the architectural design of distributed systems, including complex real-time examination of principles of resource allocation and formation of multi-factor multi-criteria planning strategies in the treatment processes massively-parallel systems with scalable architecture. Research results are widely used in scientific and practical activities of enterprises of rocket-space complex, aviation industry and automotive industry; biography of V. Toporkov is included in the reference books "Who is Who".
