Background
Alekseev was born on 18th of April, 1902 in Tartu, Estonian SSR (nowadays Estonia). His father, Vissarion Grigorievich Alexeev, was an outstanding military and political figure.

The 1st personal exhibition took place in the city of Tartu in 1924. In the 1930s he worked in the field of book graphics. In addition, there are pictures of Alexeyev based on the Book of Revelations of St. John the Theologian.
