In 1959 Mescheryakov Viktor Petrovich graduated from the historical and philological faculty of Michurinsk state pedagogical Institute.

Career

High school teacher (1959-1963), teacher of Shui university (1964-1968), Associate Professor of Zaporozhye state pedagogical institute (1968-1974). Head of the publishing part of the Gorky Institute of world literature (1974-1976). Employee of the Institute of Russian literature (Pushkin House) (1976-1986). Head of the Department of Russian literature of Simferopol State University (1986-1994). Printed since 1964.

Achievements

  • Author of many research papers, including books: "Griboyedov. Literary environment and perception (XIX-early XX centuries)" (Leningrad, 1983), "D. V. Grigorovich - writer and art critic" (Leningrad, 1985), "Life and deeds of Alexander Griboyedov" (Moscow, 1989).
