Vladimir Glushko was born on the 4th of September 1930 in Romny city, Ukrainian SSR (now Romny, Sums'ka Oblast', Ukraine).

Education

Vladimir Glushko graduated from the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics of Voronezh State University in 1954.

Career

Vladimir Glushko had a great career. He had been a Research Associate of a special Design Bureau of "Yuzhmash" factory in Dnepropetrovsk city during 1954-1956. In 1956 was a graduate student, assistant, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Mathematics and Theoretical Mechanics of Voronezh Forestry Institute in 1962-1963. Had been an Associate Professor, Senior Research Fellow, professor, Head of the Department of Partial Differential Equations and Probability Theory of Voronezh State University from 1971 till 2002.
