Vyacheslav Grigorievich Melnik graduated from the Voronezh Musical College (class of A.A. Timoshenko) and also finished the Voronezh State Institute of Arts (now Voronezh State Academy of Arts) (class of A.A. Tymoshenko).
Vyacheslav Grigorievich is the soloist and instrumentalist of the Lipetsk Philharmonic of a trio of accordionists (since 1977). At the same time she is engaged in pedagogical activity: he is the teacher of the Lipetsk musical college (1997-1999), the associate professor of the department of folk instruments of Lipetsk State Pedagogical University (since 2001). He composed music for the play "The Three Little Pigs" of the Lipetsk Municipal Drama Theater, songs to the poems of Lipetsk poets.
Vyacheslav Grigorievich Melnik is the honored artist of the RSFSR (1990), laureate of the international accordionist competition of accordionists "Vogtlandsky days of music" (1979, Kligenthal, German Democratic Republic), as well as a member of the trio of bayanists, winners of the All-Russian (1978, Voronezh; 1979, Saint Petersburg), international competitions: Festival named after F. Derzhanovsky (1991, Pyla, Poland), "Citta di Castelfidaro" (1997, Ancona, Italy).
