He was an artist of the Voronezh Svobodny Theater (1918-1919), where he designed the performances: "Rus" (to the music of S.N. Vasilenko), "As you like" ("The Twelfth Night") William Shakespeare, "Coppelia" Leo Delibe, "The Miracle of a Traveler Anthony "Maurice Meterlink", "Night on Bald Mountain" "Modest Mussorgsky," "Interrupted Carnival" (to the music of Robert Schumann, Anton Rubinstein, Pyotr Tchaikovsky, Fritz Kreisler), "Polovtsian Dances" from Alexander Borodin's opera "Prince Igor" and others.
Later he worked in Baku, Ashgabat, Yerevan, Kalinin and other cities of the country.
