William was a lover of games. He was a chess master and taught chess to youth. He played bridge competitively. There wasn't a board game he wouldn't try at least once and he knew several types of card games. William and Ruth would play cribbage whenever there was a disagreement about chore duty. He shared this love of games with his children and his children are trying to share it with the next generation.
