Achievements include description of banded chorus, a new type of VLF radiation observed in the Earth's magnetosphere by orbiting geophysical observatories; development of immunossay for parathyroid hormone-related protein causing hypercalcemia in cancer patients. Recipient Young Investigator Award, Merck and Company, 1990.
