William Studebaker is a sixth-generation westerner and fourth-generation Idahoan. The poetry in "Travelers in an Antique Land" offers insight into life in the High Desert. The photographs that accompany the poems are traditional in form and consist of images intended to convey a relaxed but philosophical look at the High Desert environment, leaving prolonged space for poetic musing.
