Career
He served in turn three Tokugawa Shogun, Ienari, Ieyoshi and Iesada. Was appointed magistrate at Nagasaki (1835), and was in charge of accounts (1842). Helped introduce reforms during the Tempo Era with Tadakuni Mizuno.
