Appointed professor of Okayama Medical University (1939), professor of Kyushu University (1940).
Served as director of the Sub sidiary Hospital of Kyushu University (1938-1940). Appointed to Tokyo University (1940) and served as director of Subsidiary Hospital of the same university (1942-1944). Retired (1950) and appointed emeritus professor of Kyushu University.
Besides the research works on cataract and glaucoma, he announced about 240 research reports on eye diseases. Also wrote the books "The Relations Between All Diseases and eye Diseases" and "The Field Ophthalmology."
