He graduated from Kyoto University in 1922.
Career
Yoshihiko Taniguchi was a professor of Wakayama Higher Commercial School and Kyoto University. Later he became professor of both Osaka Municipal University and Konan University.
He was a representative among economists who tried to systematize the commercial policies before the war. His main work "Commercial Policies" stressed that if small and medium enterprise businessmen were fulfilling a social function they should be given protection.
