Career
Because of his strength was called Akugenta (aku means strong). During the Heiji Era War he attacked and routed the forces led by Shigemori Taira, and then marched on Yorimasa Minamoto at Rokujokawara (in Kyoto) but when he attacked Kiyomori Taira he was beaten and together with his father had to flee to Mino (Gifu Prefecture). Later while trying to enter Kyoto he was arrested and put to death.
