Yoshiji Yoshii graduated from Tokyo University in 1916.
Career
Yoshiji Yoshii became instructor of the university in 1922 and accorded a doctorate in 1924. Visited America, Austria and Sweden to study botany in 1925. On returning, was appointed professor of Tohoku University in 1928; appointed emeritus professor in 1951, and became professor of Iwate University. Chairman of the Japan Ecology Academy.
