Yoshio Ozawa

Background

Yoshio Ozawa was born in Shizuoka Prefecture in 1895.

Career

Upon graduation from Osaka Medical College Yoshio became subassistant at his aima mater (1920).

He appointed assistant (1921) and then assistant professor and acting chief doctor of 1st Surgery Department of the hospital attached to the same university (1926).

Yoshio Ozawa went abroad (1928). Then he became professor and chief doctor of 1st Surgery department of Osaka Medical College (1930). Resigned with abolishment of Osaka Medical College (1930). He appointed professor (1931) and trustee (1946) at Osaka University: resigned as trustee (1948).
