Yoshisuke Kasai Became part-time employee of Home Ministry and later served successively with Wakayama, Aichi and Tokyo Prefectural Offices, and with the Home Ministry and Welfare Ministry, ultimately becoming Vice-Minister of Welfare: retired from government service (1951). He became vice-president of Japan Red Cross Society and president of Yamaka Miso Kogyo (Industrial) Company, Ltd., counselor of Railway Mutual Welfare Association, president of Junior College of Japan Social Work and counselor of National League of Welfare Councils.
