Yuddy Chrisnandi is going interested in politics and economics lead him to become Member of the People's Consultative Assembly of the Republic of Indonesia for the period 1998-1999. Chrisnandi was appointed as Special Staff to the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia for Politics / Security for the period 2001-2002, and in 2004-2009, he was elected as a Member of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia Commission I. In 2014-2016, he was assigned as Minister of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform of the Republic of Indonesia.
