ARVATOV, Yuriy was born in 1896.

Career

From 1920 in Red Army. 1920 fought against Pilsudski’s army on Western Front as pilot, 9th Reconnaissance Air Detachment, 1924 fought against Basmachi in Turkestan as commander, 4th Air Detachment. 30 September 1924 flew from Termez to Kabul to deliver aircraft to Afghanistan.

Then commander of an air squadron and tech director, "Dcruluft” SovGerman Air Communications Social. 1937 arrested by State Security organs.

Views

The emphasis on peaceful coexistence doesn’t mean that the Soviet Union accepted a static world with clear lines. Socialism is inevitable and the "correlations of forces" were moving towards socialism.
