Yury Vasilievich graduated from the Voronezh Musical College (1988) and Voronezh State Institute of Arts (now Voronezh State Academy of Arts) (1994, the class of Y.A. Mugerman).
Since 1996 the soloist of the Voronezh Philharmonic. The organizer (1994) and the leader of the ensemble of Russian music and dance "Balalaika" (since 1999 the ensemble was in the state Philharmonic). The ensemble gives concerts in the country, abroad, and is a laureate of international festivals and competitions (Japan, 1997–1998; Israel, 2003; Mexico, 2003).
