Career
Emperor Godaigo raised an army to destroy Takatoki Hojo. However, in the course of the battle Rokuhara was captured, his followers deserted him and on top of this 70 priests from the Heisenji Temple marched against him. Realising that the end had come, he threw his two sons into a river and then killed himself.
