Malyuzhenko Aleksandr Ivanovich was born on March 26, 1925б in Novaya Sotnya, Voronezh region of the Russian Federation.
Aleksandr Malyuzhenko graduated from Voronezh Academy of Music, the Department of Choral Conducting in 1951. In 1957 he also graduated from Voronezh State University, the Faculty of History.
After the graduation, Malyuzhenko started working as a music teacher (1957-1958), then he became a principal of Children’s Music School (1958-1964) in Elektrostal, Moscow region. In 1964, Malyuzhenko returned to Voronezh. At first, he was a director (1964-1986), then a teacher (since 1987) at Children’s Music School № 1, located in Voronezh (at present - № 8).
On the initiative of Malyuzhenko Children’s Philharmonic and boys’ choir (1974) were created at Children’s Music School. The choir became the laureate of All-Union Amateur Arts Festival (1985), festival "Composers of Russia — to children" (1990), All-Russian festival "Folklore — to children" (1992). Furthermore, the choir was a regular participant of first regional festivals "Dear Russian song".
In the 1960s and 1970s, Malyuzhenko was a chairperson of the Commission for cultural work of the Joint Committee of Voronezh music schools. Also, he was a chairperson of the Permanent Committee for the culture of the Levoberezhny district administration, Voronezh.
In 1983, Aleksandr Malyuzhenko was granted the title of Honored Cultural Worker of the RSFSR. He is an honorary member of the Russian musical society since 2000. Malyuzhenko is the author of numerous publications in the local press about music education for children. Aleksandr fought in the Great Patriotic War.
