Alexey was born on March 5, 1953 in Olkhov Log, Yevdakovsky District, Voronezh Oblast, Russian Federation.
In 1973 Alexey graduated from Buturlinovsky Art and Graphic Pedagogical School.
In 1985 Alexey studied at Kharkov Art and Industry Institute, Interior and Equipment in Kharkov, Ukraine.

Alexey graduated from high school in Olkhov Log in 1969, Buturlinovsky Art and Graphic Pedagogical School in 1973, department of Interior and Equipment of the Kharkov Art and Industry Institute in 1985 and has been studying at Kursk Theological Seminary since 2004.
Worked as a designer at the M. I. Kalinina plant in Voronezh from 1973 to 1978. Later, he served as a designer again, this time in the department of the chief architect at a mechanical factory for 2 years. From 1985 to 1995, Alexey worked as a teacher at an art school. Since 1995, he has been a deacon at the Zheleznogorsk temple.
Participant of regional, interregional, all-Russian exhibitions since 1985. Works primarily in the genres of landscape and still life: “Easter Lilac” (1998), “The Temple of the Martyr” (2005) and others, as well as in the field of temple art: he writes and restores icons.
