Maslennikov Alexey Ivanovich was an ophthalmologist and health official. Furthermore, he was a lecturer in paramedic schools and at the Voronezh State Medical Institute. Alexey Maslennikov is also known as the author of a number of scientific-practical articles in the journal "Voronezhskoe zdravoohranenie".

Career
In 1902-1905 Alexey Maslennikov worked in Moscow as a medical resident at an ophthalmology clinic. From 1906 to 1918 he holds office as the Head of the Alexander-Mariinsky Eye Hospital in Voronezh. Furthermore, Alexey Maslennikov was a lecturer in paramedic schools in 1906-1918.
In 1920 he was appointed to the post of Chief Doctor at the Voronezh Eye Hospital n.a. N.A. Semashko where he had been working until 1935. At this time he also had been giving lectures at the Voronezh State University and since 1924 at the Voronezh State Medical Institute.
