In 1986 Adi studied at Bogor Agricultural University at the faculty of veterinary in Bogor, Indonesia. She was a student of the University of Tokyo in Tokyo, Japan. In 2010 she became a Doctor of Philosophy.
Adi is a lecturer in the field of Veterinary Pathology and having experience doing research in avian diseases such as Newcastle disease, infectious bursal disease, and fowl cholera. As well doing some research on Japanese encephalitis and fasciolosis.
In 1987 she worked as a lecturer at the faculty of veterinary medicine at Udayana University in Indonesia. Since January 2013 she works as a professor of Udayana University in Indonesia.
