Yuri Alexandrovich was the head of the surgical department of the district hospital in Zemlyansk village, Semiluksky district (1972-1975). He was a doctor of the Department of General Surgery of the Regional Clinical Hospital (1974-1984). Yuri Alexandrovich was an Assistant (since 1984), associate professor, head of the Department (since 1998) of the Hospital Surgery of the Voronezh State Medical Academy. Author of more than 30 patents on devices and methods of treatment, more than 250 works on problems of cardiac surgery, thoracic and abdominal surgery, endocrinology, including books: "Post-disectic syndrome" (Moscow, 2006, together with others), "Surgical treatment of critical lower limb ischemia" (Moscow, 2007, together with others).
