Anatoly Sergeevich Vosnesensky

Background

Anatoly was born on the 3rd of July, in 1915 in Borisoglebsk, Tambov Gubernia, Russian Federation. Died on the 18th of July, 1985 in Voronezh. He began to learn music from his father.

Education

In 1937 he graduated from Voronezh College Of Music in the class of A.F. Semenov, in 1938-1941 studied at the Central Correspondence Musical Pedagogical Institute in Moscow.

Career

In 1934-1984 he was an artist at the Voronezh Symphony Orchestra, where from 1944 hold position of a soloist. Among his students are V. Lovchikov, Yu. Androsov, V. Makarov, A. Lysenko, Yu. Chertov, V. Nichugovsky.
