Since 1964 Anatoly Klimentievich has been a lecturer, associate professor, professor of the philosophy department of Voronezh State University, since 1994 the director of the Humanitarian Center of Voronezh State University. In 1998 Anatoly Klimentievich became the head of the department of cultural studies of Voronezh State University. Since 1998 he has been a Professor of the All-Russian Corresponding Financial and Economic Institute in Moscow.
