Anatoly Markovich worked as a test pilot. Dismissed from the army for health reasons in May 1954 in the rank of lieutenant. After the army he worked on radio and television, he worked in the newspaper "Literary Gazette". His works were regularly published since 1957. Most of his book have cognitive in nature, most of them published in Moscow, among them: "The Eagle's Pupil" (1957), "33 Steps to the Sky" (1965), "Miracles on Wheels" (1970), "The sky is yours and mine" (1981), "A Book for Sons and Dads" (1990), "600 Tips for anything" (1992), "First of all airplanes ..." (1999).
