In 1964 - graduated 9 years of high school in Riga. In 1966 - graduated from the 11th form at the evening school in Riga. In 1968 - incomplete first year of the Latvian State University. October 1972 - graduated from the Chernigov VVAUL of Lenin Komsomol, specializing in military pilot-engineer.
