Andrey Vasilievich Losev graduated from the Voronezh Art School in 1982. Among his teachers were Lidia Agoshkova, Vladimir Shpakovsky. In 1990 graduated from the graphic faculty of the Moscow State Art Institute named after Vasiliy Surikov (workshop of the book by Dekhterev).
Andrey Vasilievich Losev has been participating in the regional and all-Russian exhibitions since 1991. He works in the genres of historical paintings, portraits, and book graphics. Among the works: "They threw caps into the sky" (1991), "For you, cornet!" (1995-2003), "Blessing of Saint Mitrofan" (1995-2003).
In 1994-2003, Andrey Vasilievich took part in the interior painting of the Intercession Cathedral, the Assumption Church at Monastyrshchenka in Voronezh, and made icons for the iconostasis of the church in the village of Tretyaki, Borisoglebsky District (2003).
