Ann El-Moslimany studied at the University of New Mexico and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in 1959. She then graduated from the American University of Beirut with a master's degree in 1961 and then received a Ph.D. in 1983.
Ann El-Moslimani held various teaching positions. Since 1984, she worked at the University of Kuwait as a director and teacher. She then took a position at the Seattle Central Community College in Seattle, Washington, in 1986. She worked until 1990. Ann has also been a paleoecological study since 1987 with Palynological Consultants.
On May 31, 1962, Anna El-Moslimani was married to Muhammad Ahmad el-Moslimany, who was a professor of electrical engineering. They had three children: Sarnia, Ahmad, Rashid.
