Ono-no-Azumahito was a Japanese warrior. He conquered the Ezo Tribe in northern Japan (721) and built the fort of Taga (Akita Prefecture) to prevent future trouble. When Hirotsugu Fujiwara rebeled (740), he attacked the rebels with 17,000 troops and killed Hirotsugu.
