B. B. Calhoun, also known under the pseudonym L. E. Blair, is a full-time writer of children's books and young adult books. She works and lives in New York City. Previously, Calhoun taught pre-school, elementary, and junior high school for twelve years.

Achievements

• B. B. Calhoun has created and/or contributed to several series for young adults. Best known for her “Dinosaur Detective” series, Calhoun has also written series titles geared to adolescent girls interested in sports with her “Pink Parrot” series, and in the world of high fashion with her “Ford Supermodels of the World” series.
