Boris Morozov graduated from the Chelyabinsk Polytechnic Institute in 1967. Simultaneously with studying at the political institute for the specialty "metal working with pressure," he worked in the forging and pressing shop of the Chelyabinsk Metallurgical Combine, becoming a "smith of free forging of the 4th rank", as the record says in his work book.
In 1973 Boris graduated from GITIS, the course of M.O. Knebel and A.A. Popova.
In 1966 - theater "Mannequin" of Boris Morozov received the Grand Prix at the "1st All-Union Festival of Student and Variety Theaters in Moscow", the prize was presented by Arkady Raikin himself. Being the director and the main director he staged performances in the theater of Stanislavsky (1977-1981), the Theater of Mayakovsky (1981-1982), the Theater of Pushkin (1983-1987), the Maly Theater (1988-1995). In 1995 Boris Morozov became the chief director of the Central Academic Theater of the Russian Army. In 1973 - Andrei Alekseevich Popov invited Morozov to the Theater of the Soviet Army to stage a graduation performance "When My Hour Comes" based on the play of I.G. Garuchava and P.A. Khotanovski. In CACA, Boris Afanasievich spent five years as a director, then, in 1977, again reunited with his teacher A.A. Popov and classmates Anatoly Vasilyev and Joseph Reichelgauzem at the Moscow Drama Theater. In the theater of Stanislavsky three years passed, these years in the expression of Boris Morozov himself were "An amazing time, when everything worked out", when the "Shave, Bony, Blow" by S.Shaltenianis and "Cyrano de Bergerac" by E.Rostana were staged.
Now Boris Morozov heads one of the acting workshops at the Russian Institute of Theatrical Art - GITIS. Among his students are Maria Gorban, Alexander Novin and other actors.
