In 1954 Victor Alexandrovich entered the Voronezh music school, where he studied at the domra and continued his favorite occupation - drawing from life of his colleagues - students of the school. He graduated from the Gnesin’s State Musical and Pedagogical Institute (1965).
Victor Alexandrovich was the lecturer of the Vladimir Music School (1965-1974), the Gorky Conservatory (since 1974), where he founded the class of domra and orchestra of folk instruments. He was an organizer (1991), art director, chief conductor of the Nizhny Novgorod Orchestra of Russian Folk Instruments, laureate of the international competition named after G.G. Shenderev (Vladivostok, 1997). The author of the instrumentation, arrangements, and transcriptions for various orchestras.
