Boris Grigorievich graduated from the Saratov Theater College, State Institute of Theatrical Art named after A.V. Lunacharsky (now Russian Academy of Theatre Arts) in 1936. In 1940, Boris finished graduate school of the State Institute of Theatrical Art named after A.V. Lunacharsky.
Boris Grigorievich worked as a director in the theaters of Brest, Bialystok, Grodno, Nalchik. He was a lecturer at the Moscow Theater School named after B.V. Shchukin, where he later became a vice-rector, then a rector. He founded the theatrical institute in the People’s Republic of China (1953-1955), where he staged performances: "Tradesmen" by Maxim Gorky, "Masha" by Alexander Nikolaevich Afinogenov, "Romeo and Juliet" by William Shakespeare. He worked as a teacher at the Vladivostok Institute of Arts from 1962 to 1964 and opened the theater department of the Voronezh State Institute of Arts (1971-1975).
Boris Grigorievich staged the graduation performances in the city of Voronezh: "Deep Intelligence" by Alexander Alexandrovich Kron, "Arshin Mal Alan" by Uzeir Hajibeyov. He was the artistic director of the first set at the institute. N. Drozdov, V. Zorkin, N. Ledeneva, I. Sisikina were his students.
