Boris Osipovich Sibor graduated from the N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov Saint Petersburg State Conservatory (1901).
In 1902-1903 Boris Osipovich gave concerts abroad, improved in Berlin with I. Joachim. In 1904 he lived in Voronezh, was the first teacher in the violin class at the Music Classes, which opened at the Voronezh branch of the Imperial Russian Musical Society. Lecturer at the Music and Drama School at the Moscow Philharmonic Society (since 1905), Moscow Conservatory (1921-1951). At the same time, soloist of the Bolshoi Theater Orchestra (1905-1929). Author of the work "Violin technique of double notes" (Moscow, 1928), editor of a number of violin compositions.
