Quotations: "If cities are where you go to find yourself, find a job, meet others like you, revel in diversity, then why do so many writers on cities hate cities? If cities are where you go to find your freedom, as a lesbian, or as an artist, or as someone with a great idea, why do so many people feel trapped in their homes? What would a safe city look like? Would it necessarily be boring or repressive?”
Carolyn Whitzman married David Owen Hunt, a publisher, in 1985. The couple has one son, Simon Omer.
