Education

Chao-wu Ting was graduated of Han-mei Academy (Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing) in 1909 and graduated of Foochow College in 1911

Career

Chao-wu Ting worked as an instructor of the Shaowu Government Middle School in 1911, elected member of the Lower House of Parliament in 1912, dean of Shaowu Government Middle School in 1915, member of the Extraordinary Parliament in Canton, China from 1917 till 1922, member of the Lower House of the Restored Parliament in Peking, China from 1924 till 1925, elected reserve member of the Central Executive Committee of Kuomintang, China in1925, chairman of the Fukien Committee of the Kuomintang, China from 1926 till 1927.

He was also a member of the Central Political Council and of the Provisional Government at Foochow, China from 1926 till 1927, Mayor of Foochow Municipality, member of the Fukien Provincial Government and Commissioner of Construction of Fukien, China from 1927 till 1928, chief judge of the Central Provisional Court for Special Criminal Cases in 1928, member of the Central Executive Committee of the Kuomintang and of the Central Political Council in 1929, member of the Control Yuan since 1933.
