After a period of architectural training in New York, maintained an office in the city for a number of years. In the mid 1930's Mr. Keefe returned to Kingston, and while he devoted his time largely to residential work, also designed the American Legion Memorial Building and the Knights of Columbus Building, and served as the architect on the restoration of a number of New England buildings, notable examples of which were the old Crane Museum at Dalton, Mass., and the Wadsworth Museum at Hanover, N. H.
A past-president of the Mid-Hudson Valley Architectural Society, Mr. Keefe had also been a member of the New York Chapter, A. I. A. after 1921.
