Since 1995 Ellen workes as a freelance writer and dating consultant. She has given lectures and seminars on relationship strategies throughout the United States. Moreover, she appeared on television programs, including 20/20, ABC, and The Oprah Winfrey Show, syndicated. On January 8, 2013 Ellen Fein released "Not Your Mother's Rules", the fifth book she has had published.
